one-child law

I was reading the sunday news and came across a article about China's one-child Law....

Aparently they are struggling to balance the sexes..They will no longer allow abortions after 14 weeks. They choose to abort the girls<I think this is very sick> because boys are more valuable..

Humm now who do they think is going to marry these men??

So they are interviewing a Dr Wang who performs 400 abortions a year in a crudely furnished clinic...So I'm reading this thinking how sick this is for a culture that wants to kill the females because they prefer the males.....

Then I come across this sentence that made me drop my jaw...

Dr Wang says it costs $17 for the basic service, or twice that amount for what Dr Wang called a "painless abortion"meaning one with anesthesia..

I'm thinking what the H@@...

The slime ball ....lets peel his penis like an orange...Sorry dude no anesthesia for you...

<Now this child hates to poop..yeah I know its werid...He will hold it forever so I have to remind him everyday>

Zach comes back into the livingroom and sits down

ME: Did you poop?

Zach I can't... I have to eat one more thing...thats what they said

ME<puzzled>  Thats what who said??

Zach: The farts they told me

Me:<rolfl > I could not stop laughing this kids defintley has an imagination...

Not happy

SO not happy with the oldest son Landon...

In my previous entry we had this conversation that he wants to marry some girl he barely knows..

Now I'm not happy but I keep my mouth shut...

Have I met this girl....... nope...and I'm thinking I don't like the behaviors I'm getting from my son since he met her..

Thinking this girl might be a control freak or my son has no

brains...or both

Everybody has met this girl but me...She has met Landon's father and wife several times and Landon has met her parents several times

but when it comes to me and our family well.....They are just too busy....hum

The only girlfriend he had that was nice and wanted to include us sometimes was MS B. Whenever she came up to visit she encouraged my son to be involved with us and his little brothers...

So ...............I finally had enough and decided to confront my son about why they were avoiding us

Landon and MS A are visiting my x-husband once again and going to his sister basketball game...

Now Cameron his little brother had to have a cast on his leg because he broke his ankle...Has Landon called to check on his brother once...... nope

I say why haven't you called your brother and checked on him since he got his cast... I get no answer from Landon....I say Cameron has asked why big brother hasnt called...

Landon tried to change the subject

I said why haven't we met your girlfriend yet..

He said we have just been busy..

I said well not too busy to go to your dads twice and her families ...

It would seem to me that she would want to meet the woman that gave freaking birth to you...I mean I am the reason you are here.... <ok I lost my cool a little>

If it was important to her to met us then you would make time....

He gets this attitude with talking to me like I'm crap <which he always getswhen he is wrong>

He says mom I don't want to talk to you right now about this...translated means I know your right mom and I cant win so I will cut you off>

I said well you know maybe I just might not want to meet her....I'm just too busy

He hung up in my face which he always does when he knows he is being selfish and a big A@@

Yes, my heart is hurt because..I do a lot for Landon always have...He doesnt give me credit but I do...

I'm kind of the quite supporter...ALways there for him in the background

But do I get credit NOOOOO!!!!!

I guess I'm angry...being dismissed on the phone like I'm dirt under his feet..

Little Turd...and when she dumps him who will he call...All of a sudden I will be good enough to talk to again....

So I think I wont talk to him for a while...

UGH!!!!:-(

I'm so pissed

The bodies were found about an hour from our house....This stuff makes me want to puk....
I think WHYWHY  ...He didnt have to kill her and her son and unborn baby that was his child....Just leave go away...and never see her again...

My mind never can wrap around these life stories

Stephen Dale Barbee (search), 37, who led police to the scene of a "shallow grave" where authorities found two bodies believed to be that of bagel shop owner Lisa Underwood (search ) and her son, admitted to arguing with her over leaving his wife, according to court documents.

"We know that the grave contains the bodies of a female and a male consistent with the ages of Lisa Underwood and her son Jayden," Lt. Gene Jones, spokesman for the Fort Worth Police Department (search), said at a Tuesday press conference held in a Denton County field near where the bodies were found.

Barbee allegedly said he suffocated Underwood, then did the same to the boy after he interrupted the attack, court papers said. The documents said Barbee was the father of Underwood's fetus.

Barbee was arrested Tuesday in Tyler, 120 miles east of Fort Worth, where he had been working clearing trees. He was charged with murder and his bail was set at $2 million.

Barbee told investigators he put the bodies in the back of Underwood's sport utility vehicle and dug a shallow grave. The SUV was found in a creek near the town of Denton on Monday.

Court papers also revealed that a sheriff's deputy briefly had Barbee in custody early Saturday when he stopped a suspicious man covered in mud. The man ran into the woods and escaped.

Police had searched Barbee's Fort Worth home for clues into the disappearance of Underwood and Jayden. "We do know that Ms. Underwood and Mr. Barbee were romantically involved at one time," Jones said. "We don't know what the current status of their relationship is."

Jones said Jayden's father had also been contacted by police and was cooperating with the investigation.

Underwood, a popular bagel shop owner, and her little boy vanished this weekend from their Fort Worth home, where a pool of blood, but no sign of forced entry, was found. Late Monday, investigators removed a roll of carpet from the red brick home, which remains surrounded by police tape.

An Amber Alert was issued this weekend when Underwood and her son failed to show up for her own baby shower Saturday. On Monday, authorities found her missing SUV submerged in a creek.

Authorities focused part of their investigation to look for clues near the creek where Underwood's car was found. The blue Dodge Durango was discovered by a landowner just outside Denton, about 34 miles north of Fort Worth along Interstate 35, the major thoroughfare leading north to the Oklahoma state line. Police declined to say what, if any, evidence was found inside. The keys to the vehicle were found nearby.

Officers on horseback rode up and down surrounding farmland for hours after the SUV's recovery Monday morning, but ended the day without finding Underwood or Jayden, a first-grader described as the light of his mother's life.

"They are each other's lives," Marla Hess, Underwood's aunt, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram for Tuesday editions. "They created a world that no one else can penetrate. We are going to find them together ? regardless."

Underwood was a co-owner of Boopa's Bagel Deli (search) with Holly Pils, who said she last spoke with Underwood on Friday night.

Pils said "Boopa" was the nickname Underwood's mother had given Jayden.

"He wanted to be referred to as one of the owners because he said, 'My name is on the building,'" Pils said.

Well wishes piled up at the bagel shop. Several notes were taped to the inside window and a large brown teddy bear was placed on a table by the window. One of the notes said, "God Bless Lisa and her two little angels."

Outside the family home, someone wrote a chalk message on the concrete, wishing them a quick return.

FOX News' Catherine Donaldson-Evans, Phil Keating, Heather Scroope and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

I Watched this movie last night...I bawled my eyes out.....I highly recommend it....The move itself was great...

I felt sad mainly because I remember my first love...I know how wonderful it felt the first time I fell in love.....

To have someone so crazy in love with you that when your old he stills calls you his sweetheart  awwwhhhh!!

My husband even like it...and he never likes my chick flicks HA!

What not to wear

Ok anybody want to nominate me for the show ::::What not to wear.....

I need help I still dress like I weigh much more...I'm stuck in a rut not sure how to dress like a thinner person...I wear stuff too baggey not comfortable with fitted stuff... I just not a good clothes shopper..HELP ME!!

Plus I could use the 5000.00 they give you for new clothes...Yeah buddy!!!!

I survived

Well Cracker Barrell was good but it always is...I just wish there seating was more comfortable...

I survived the sister n law meeting...She was quite ....not really talkative but there was 7 people there so many people talking at the same time so...

She did make the comment that her birthday was 2 days ago..I felt bad she looked kind of sad about it...

I ask her what she wanted for her birthday she said nothing...

Husband said that his sister was in a better mood today because she is away from the rest of the family...He says they stressed her out . I have notice that she suffers from anxiety...

He says she just seems to choose me to take it out on....

I said lucky me NOT!!

We ate and had barely finished....she said well.... got to go..... she went to her car and got the cookies that her mom made and valentines candy..

I was thinking gee lets sit here and visit and enjoy the nice company for a change...

She can't enjoy herself she is always in a hurry to get somewhere and then when she is there ...she is ready to go...

Must be anxiety......

Who knows  glad its over.....

Sister N law

Husband told me we are going to Cracker Barrel today for lunch....Sounds Good huh

Here is the catcher...WE are meeting his sister there....

There are 11 sibiling in my husbands family...This sister is the oldest...She  is about 50 something never been married has cats...does this sound familar???

Actually I used to like this sibiling until the last few years...She has turned into a bitter, hateful person...especially since I lost my weight...

She has said ugly mean things to me in the past so I feel very anxious when I'm around her...Never know what will come

Out of her mouth...

She is bringing up valentines candy for our kids etc...I know what this is though.... probably an excuse to bitch about something to us... That is what is usually is

IF my husband would tell her to shut up when she does her verbal attacks I really wouldn't mind...I think its because this sister is about 15 years older than him so he looks at her as a mother figure...  I say WHATEVER!!!

If you have read my journal for long you know the history I have with his family...I call them the ADAMS family....and the name fits...Even My husband calls them the ADAMS family..

FUNNY!!

I hope I'm wrong...I'm still pissed about the vacation My husband encouraged me to take with her this summer and I ended up threathening to take a flight back home...Oh my gosh it was terrible experience...

We will see...All I got to say is hubby knows if she starts in he better rein her in or All hells going to break loose..

I called my oldest son and told him to met us there..I need all the support I can get..Plus my oldest son will tell her how the cow ate the cabbage if she starts belittling me....

I know I sound not very open minded but I have tried for 10 years to be nice to this family ..They need prozac or something...Serious mental illness in this family....

Unmedicated mental illness

Scarey very scarey RUN FOR YOUR LIFE..

I will make an entry tonight and let you know what happens.....

Thong Tha thong thong thong

Got home from work and hubby wanted to go eat at his favorite restaurant..Irish Rover...IT's a pub type place that has really good food..

They have stuff like Sheppards Pie, Bangers amd Mash... Sandwiches etc...

Hubby had Steak and Mushroom pie..

Tender cuts of steak in a brown sauce top with a light flakey pastry crust..yummie

He also ordered something called Rusty Nuts..

I'm like what the heck is that...

It's mashed potatoes rolled in bacon bits, jalepenos, chesse, onions covered with a crust...They deep fry them...They were actually good I dipped my in Ranch dressing..

So we were having a nice little dinner and I look over and what do I see...

This woman with her back to us and half her black thong sticking above her pants...

[G-string Stress Test.jpg (130 kB)]

It's was gross...I told hubby now you know she knows her butt is not covered yet she sit there in all her glory...

I don't recall ordering half covered buttcrack with my dinner...

I fought back the temptation to walk over and grab the top of the thong and pull just as hard as I could....Give her a permanent thong wedgie...

Whats next tattoed underwear,,

I know I will pull my granny panties far up underneath my breast and walk by her table just as she takes a bite of her food...

That will show her!!!!

Ok maybe not..but you have to admit I would have looked pretty funny

Are annoyed that AOL-J limits you to 40 slots for linking Other Journals?

Is there a journal you enjoy but have difficulty reading because of its color scheme?

Are you tired of not having Alerts to indicate which journals have new entries?

When you do get Alerts, do you think it stinks that they don't display images or full text?

Wouldn't it be great if you could get alerts for non-AOL journals!

Do I sound like an infomercial or what!

Some of you already know about it...okay, I bet the majority of you do... but for those who don't, you've got to try Bloglines.com.  I've seen other journalers reference it, so I finally checked it this week.

I *luv* it!  It's more addictive than technorati.com.  ;)

It's a free service that allows you to monitor journals (aka "feeds") in one handy-dandy location.  All you do is register for a free account, add your blog and then list the blogs you like ("subscribe").  Voila!  Smorgasbord de Journals! :)

To see what it looks like, check out this screenshot.  (Paul, that means no more reading those comment "Original Entry" fields) :)

Here are my top 5 reasons for luving Bloglines:

1.  I can keep tabs of more than 40 journals without having to depend on Alerts or repeated visits.  I currently read 62 feeds.  Yeah, I said 62.  It's *impossible* to keep up with 62 journals and still have a life.   So I've foregone the life...a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. ;)

2.  I can get Alerts for my friends who have blogs at blogspot or Live Journal.

3.  I no longer have to use my journal's links to access to the journals I like.  I can run down my Bloglines list of feeds without distorting my counter.  I can also share my list o'links.

4.  It's a dependable alternative to AOL-J's rolling Alerts blackouts.  I can instantly see which journals have new entries. Plus, they offer notifiers, their own version of instant alerts.

5.  If I want to leave a comment, I just click on the entry and I'm taken to the actual journal.  If not, I can keep reading.

So if you're interested,  visit bloglines.com

I'd suggest you tell them I sent ya, but then they'd look at you funny.  You wouldn't want that now.  Well, unless you have some bizarre desire to see what life is like through the eyes of a circus clown.  :)

I found

I found a web site that watches url's for you and if they have a change it alerts you.

http://www.changenotes.com/

You just add the journal address or any website address and it is suppose to alert you when there is a change..

Thought I would try it...Since AOL isnt working...of course this means I will get double alerts once aol is up and running...so....If I like this alerts system better I will not use the alerts..

If I can figure out how to do that...

I'll keep you posted.

If anybody knows more about this alert system your welcome to e-mail me and give me the 411....:)

Biting the ole tongue

Job is starting to make more sense...It's really not that hard if someone just sit down and explains it to you....

I felt like I made good progress today althought I can't see myself doing this for 20 years..

So on to Cat Lady...You know you want to here about her don't cha:-) HA!

I tryed to avoid the old hag but we keep bumping into each other and I was cordial she just glared at me...

Have you ever met a person who thinks the whole world is there to supply there needs???A person who acts so bent out of shape if they are inconviencent at all...Well.... meet the Cat Lady..

On to my story....When we print..... the printer has no way of dividing whose is what so... it spits the papers all out together... When it finishes you have to take the pile and pick out your own document...

There stood the Cat lady just ready to pounce but I just ignored her and picked up the paper pile to find my documents....None of them were mine I smiled and said well these are all yours

She then said with a HUFF WELL!!! would you like to read the rest of my mail...I just looked at her and walked off...She acts like I want to do things to piss her off.

I went into my Computer and switched my computer to another printer..I know my boss wants me to share with her but I refuse to keep bumping into her so she can verbal bark at me....

I talked it over with Coworkers and she said go ahead and switch that way I don't have to see her at all except for an ocassionally hallway run in..

Maybe I should sprinkle cat nip in her office and she will be nicer:-) evil smirk

Off to watch American Idol

A journal I enjoy

Here is a entry from a journal I really enjoy reading and laugh at a lot...Check him out its called Life as a Paramedic http://journals.aol.com/rescuesquad93/Lifeasaparamedic/   Doctor's Tales

05 February 2005

"Doctor's Tale"

Here is a few things to tie you over till I can actually get something worth writing about.

A man comes into the ER and yells, "My wife's going to have her baby in
the cab!" I grabbed my stuff, rushed out to the cab, lifted the lady's
dress, and began to take off her underwear. Suddenly I noticed that there
were several cabs-I was in the wrong one.
--Dr. Mark MacDonald,

At the beginning of my shift I placed a stethoscope on an elderly and
slightly deaf female patient's anterior chest wall. "Big breaths," I
instructed. "Yes, they used to be," remorsed the patient.
--Dr. Richard Byrnes, Seattle, WA

One day I had to be the bearer of bad news when I told a wife that her
husband had died of a massive myocardial infarct. Not more than five
minutes later, I heard her reporting to the rest of the family that he had
died of a "massive internal fart."
--Dr. Susan Steinberg,

During a patient's two week follow-up appointment with his
cardiologist, he informed me, his doctor, that he was having trouble with
one of his medications. "Which one?" I asked. "The patch. The nurse told
me to put on a new one every six hours and now I'm running out of places
to put it!" I had him quickly undress and discovered what I hoped I
wouldn't see... Yes, the man had over fifty patches on his body! Now, the
instructions include removal of the old patch before applying a new one.
--Dr. Rebecca St. Clair,

While acquainting myself with a new elderly patient, I asked, "How
long have you been bedridden?" After a look of complete confusion she
answered ... "Why, not for about twenty years-when my husband was alive."
--Dr. Steven Swanson,

I was caring for a woman from Kentucky and asked, "So how's your breakfast this morning?" "It's very good, except for the Kentucky Jelly. I can't seem to get used to the taste," the patient replied. I then
asked to see the jelly and the woman produced a foil packet labeled KY Jelly."
--Dr. Leonard Kransdorf,

A Nurse was on duty in the Emergency Room, when a young woman with
purple hair styled into a punk rocker Mohawk, sporting a variety of
tattoos, and wearing strange clothing, entered. It was quickly determined
that the patient had acute appendicitis, so she was scheduled for
immediate surgery. When she was completely disrobed on the operating
table, the staff noticed that her pubic hair had been dyed green, and
above it there was a tattoo that read, "Keep off the grass." Once the
surgery was completed, the surgeon wrote a short note on the patient's
dressing, which said "Sorry, had to mow the lawn."

and Finally . . .

A new, young MD doing his residency in OB was quite
embarrassed performing female pelvic exams. To cover his embarrassment he
had unconsciously formed a habit of whistling softly. The middle-aged lady
upon whom he was performing this exam suddenly burst out laughing and
further embarrassed him. He looked up from his work and sheepishly said,
I'm sorry. Was I tickling you?" She replied, "No doctor, but the song you
were whistling was 'I wish I was an Oscar Meyer Wiener'."
--Dr. wouldn't admit his name

The big question

I was reading a journal and they had a question....If you could have one thing in your life what would it be????

This question puzzled me...

Why you ask???? Because there are so many things and narrowing down to one that's hard.....

I thought and thought and this is what I would like to have....One wish..one desire.....

When I am of an old age and lieing in my bed dieing..I would want my children and husband there so that thier eyes would be the last I would see before I went to heaven...the feel of thier love and knowing it was worth it all...just to experence life...having no regrets...

I know this sounds a little morbid...but at my age of 43 you start thinking about death...Not because you wish to die but because it becomes very clear that there is a end to this road...

We all know that we will die but you know out of sight out of mind....

At my age you start seeing more of your friends dieing...your body aches in places it never ached before..things just start wearing out as they should be...It is part of the process....

I look in the mirror and inside I feel young but the person looking back at me is different well..... she is older and frankly I dont like it!!!!!!!!

but ya know...what can you do.....

SO I Ask you if you could have one wish in your life what would it be????

Cat Lady evil stricks again

Well work day started great...Cat Lady came in 2 hours later than anybody else....so it was nice and quite for 2 hours anyway

I spent an hour in my bosses office and got a little training..<.Gee I have only been working there 3 weeks..its about time>

Cat lady walks in ...I dont even see her come in and she

immediately

goes into coworkers office and starts saying crap about me thats not even true

...just making crap up....

stuff like I'm never at my desk blah blah...

I never leave my office except to go to the bathroom or pick up my copies from the copy machine...She is always out smoking outside...

what she doesnt knows is that coworker and I have been friends for 10 years..so everything she says about me I hear...

Coworker defends me and cat lady huffs off...

May you choke on a hair ball Cat lady...

Big boss comes into co workers office and asks how things are going...Co workers tells him Cat lady is starting in on me..He say why is she doing this??? Co worker says she is jealous...Big boss says humm going to have to talk to her...

Co worker can't stand her either...She has a reputation for being evil and vile....

I didn't speak to her at all even when she passed me in the office...She had this weird look on her face because I always speak and am very polite to her...< I was trying the kill her with kindness    but dang she is still alive Ha!!>>

Sorry to whine on about her but I have to vent to someone....

Seriously I had a major racing heart   and short of breath even time she walked by my office..afraid she was going to come in and talk crap to me....

If she was out and out ugly it would be different but she is very smug with her comments...

I dont like confrontations but if cornered I will put her in her place...

I have also been worried about my oldest son he called and said he was assaulted by about 5 guys the other night...Then beat him up pretty bad and stole his wallet...He was walking a so called friend to her apartment because she ask him to follow her so she could get home safe..<fishey sounding to me> I think she set him up

After he walked away from the apartment about 5 guys jump him from behind caught him off guard...My son isn't small about 5 12 and 250lbs...He has bruised ribs and swollen eyes...

I said didn't the girl call the police he said no she called him the next day and said sorry about that... He said he told her don't ever call or talk to me again....I asked him why he didn't call the police he said Mom!!! I was scared to death I just druge myself to my car and drove away as fast as I could...

I was so upset and worried about him.  I was trying not to cry all day  IT was like the straw that broke the camels back..He is going to be ok...I tried to get him to press charges he won't he lives in a small size town and is afraid whoever they were we come looking for him... I told him that I don't think the police would devulge his name he said mom what if they do then what.... I think he is scared  who wouldn't be...He said mom I was just trying to do what was right and this happened...

Anyway I have bored you guys enough I'm off to bed have to work at kohls tomarrow

Death to Cat lady

Yes you read right.....I'm ready to knock Cat lady out with a bat....

This woman is a beotch...and if she belittles me again today I will get her told...I have tried everything...being nice, ignorning her comments, walking away, shutting my office door....But no the rude hateful person seeks me out just to make rude comments to me....

I have figure out that she only does it to me and the other female coworker....She is sicking sweet to the male....

I want to puke... I dispised rude mean people.

I called my boss last night and told him about it...He basically said he knew her social skills were for crap but she puts out the work....

I thought good thing because she will be the only one working there...

He said he will try to rein her in....I wanted to say oh no let me rein her in and shove a sock in her mouth and my foot up her @@@....

Yes I'm pissed....I think I will move the staple 3/4 of a inch to one side...That will drive her crazy since they have to be just right for her....

She needs to get a life....
