Questions Answered.  Part One of I-don't-know-how-many.

Donna in Texas asks:

1. Do you stay in touch with any actors you stared with in wings??If so whom?

Hey no fair, this is two questions.  But since one is contingent on the other, I'll answer. ;)  

For the record, I didn't "star" on Wings.  It's fine by me if you wanna think that - but I was at the bottom of the rankings, below paper shredder and floor sweeper.  I was an extra.  I had a recurring background role in 5 episodes.  There wasn't much time or opportunity to get to know the cast.  I did, however, watch some of the guys kick it, hackey-sack-style, with some extras.  The young male stars of the show were really cool.  [that leaves out that one guy who was kind of a jerk.]  I wonder what the guys would say if I call 'em up:  Hey, remember me?  Sure you do.  I held your passenger schedule.  Yeah, so, what's up?


2. What made you decide to be a Dog Walker?

Good question.  Truthfully, Hunny made me decide to be a dog walker.  If it weren't for her, I might still be job-hopping in an endless pool of temps.  In which case, this journal might've been called Journey to Pieces!  Thank god for Hunny.  She got me out.

It certainly wasn't my first choice.  When I first got a glimpse of what a dog walker even was, I was like, "Who would wanna do that for a living?"  A year later, it turned out to be me.  That was 1996.  Aside from a 6-month hiatus and a 2-year slow-to-get-back-into-the-swing-of-things, I've been doing this full time.  I love what I do.  I'm grateful.


3. What is one thing in life you dreamed about doing and once you got to do it you were disappointed that it turned out not to be what you thought it would be?

Another good question.  Hmmm...I've been thinking about this question all week.  I can't think of a single thing.  I don't recall many disappointments that I haven't resolved.  Everything is a necessary step toward the next step.  So, maybe I was destined to be disappointed with something and that's why I'm happy doing another thing today.  That's an honest answer.  But I'm not shutting the book on this one.  If I think of something I'll post it!

Tomarrow is my birthday I will be 44<sigh>

44 sounds so old only 6 away from 50..

I have been depressed about this all week..

I don't think its really because of the age factor its more that I still don't think I have found my calling in life..

I feel I'm still searching...but time is running out...

Just slap a big 'L" on my forehead..

I know one day I will look back and think gee I wish I was 44 again...but for now....

I have to work on my birthday which sucks...not that I will celebrate or anything...

just feeling sad about it...guess I go to the front yard and eat worms...<not really>

I am thankful its not about that also...

anyway....heres to another year <clink>

So dallas school district is forcing all the principals to become fluent in spanish or they lose there job..

How stupid is this.....

Thier argument is that all the hispanics are infilltrating Texas and the parents dont speak english...so we should speak there language and this will make there kids do better

Ok that is my opionion...

English is our native language learn it damn it..or go back...

I think learning another launguage is great I have nothing againist it<in fact I can speak spanish took it in college> but you came to live here because you wanted to take advanta ge of what our country has to offer.

You want to be american..

ok fine be american damn it..speak and learn english...

Next we will hear

well how come they not learning chinese,vietnames,russian.. I mean what about all the other immigrants they could cry that this is discrimation againist there race...

Yes I can see me going to mexico and saying ok I;m coming to your country and you better learn english because I don't want to learn mexican..

If the hispanics can't speak english them offer them free english classes which probably is already offered..

They have a choice to learn or not to learn..

What is funny about the whole thing is some of the hispanics are mad that the district is doing this...

They say we left mexico for a reason to belong to another country and we learned english so can they

WE will see how this who thing turns out

2nd set of question

why do you have an online jnl?

This is a good question..

I started reading other peoples and I always wanted to journal but I'm too ADD to write one out in long hand.I tryed writing one but I type faster and its easy to correct.

I originally started it just to write a few details and thing about my life and stuff I observe..IT has evolved from there..

I have made some great friends...and I like seeing people are just like me...

What thing that you have lost in your past would you love to find?

Wow hummm...I would love to feel the feeling of laying my head in my mamas lap as a small child...having her run her fingers through my hair to put me to sleep and feeling so safe and loved...I guess you could say the innocent of childhood feeling you had the world as your osyter...

as you age you become for cynical.. because life just does that to you...

If you change one thing about your high school experience, what would it be?

To have fun and not worry and stress so much

Well this is a little complicated...My husband is from a family of 11 kids...he is number 10..I was friends with his oldest sister number 1 debbie...She always talked about her baby brother however she had a few brothers to say the least so I got confused sometimes...

One day I was walking in the mall and I ran into debbie she was talking to me and a friend and Randy walked by..Debbie talk to him and I said who is that..she said my brother..I thought WHAT a nerd he is... and laughed to myself...

So we went dancing I still didnt make the connection..

He finally asked me to dance after I stare and flirted for an hour...I asked his name again...when he told me I said oh my gosh I know you...

He blushed and said you do..I said not really but I have heard about you for several years from your sister debbie..

So he said I took him home but the way I tell it he wanted to see my new house and he took advantage of a slightly intoxicated girl >lol>..wink ...

anyway we have been together ever since.. we will be celelbrating our 11 year wedding anniversary on dec 31 and in febrary is will be 12 years all together if you count when we.....well you know

2.) If you do anything over what would it be?

I wouldnt be in a hurry to grown up and would enjoy my youth a little more by

not having a child so young

enjoy school and friends more

not worry about what people thought so much

I would date more than just one guy...
