why is it when aol alerts screw up and the reeinstate they don't pick up the journal you had and you loose people and don't know it until months later..
I know I have lost people and they have lost me....and we never know it until something triggers our memory..

Donna you know how well AOL screws up ~ when they go for it they go full speed ahead and ruin our journals ~ I wonder if they realise all the trouble they cause ~ I bet not ~ Ally x

I went private for a couple days, decided I didn't like it. When I went back public, people had to put me on alerts all over again. I won't be doing THAT again.
You and I discovered this, yesterday, didn't we? Hard to believe we don't notice for so long. I turned my alerts off. I was relying on them, but we never know when they are working or not. I am just going down my journal list. I won't be able to check on everyone every day, more like every couple of days (I have a very long list). Glad you realized it had been a while since I was here. Thanks for the reminder! Jae
Maybe I rely on alerts too much? I always hear people say they aren't getting them. And a I have a few folks that always send me a link when they post cause they think I won't get the alert.....but as far as I know I always do. - Barbara
