I've had that same conversation a gazillion times, and I still get this power-trip feeling :)
I tell my 4 year old ALL the time that I am the BOSS and that's why! Her answer is "Oh yea, well I AM THE BOSS, NOT YOU!" and she stomps down the hallway! At least your son accepts that you are! I am personally moving away when my youngest hits the teen years! LOL!
Hugs and love, Lisa
I tried telling hte kids I was the boss and they told me no way, that would be Daddy!!! LOL

Hee hee, we are so the bosses :o)
Now I just have to get my son to accept that, he doesn't believe me!!

Yeah what he doesn't know is the other side of being The Boss... which is why we stay up late... balancing the budget, cleaning house, searching for the "perfect gift" for loved ones, reading all those home-improvement books, cleaning house, writing tomorrow's "to-do"list, tearing up today's.... Sometimes it'd feel pretty fine to be sent to bed at 7.... or 8... or 11. Which reminds me... time to hit the sack. Night boss. Lock up will ya?
