This afternoon I was driving home and got caught in a bad hale storm scared the crap out of me and the kids...They were quite as mice while I was driving...I kept hollaring at the cars to go and move so I could get home...
I thought the windshield was going to break!!
I have gotten hooked on this show called amazing race I have never watched it before 2 weeks ago....I have never saw any of the shows it just never appealed to me but hey I'm enjoying watching the people under stress.
I must say africa is beautiful on that show...
I sent hubby to Lowes to pick up a flower for zach to plant at school...
I swear he was gone an hour and a half..He came home with one tiny flower
Me- you have been gone that long and all you have is a little flower what were you doing?
hubby-silence ignored me
me-AND?
he goes on about how hdtv works which I zoned out while he was talking..
I know I'm bad but my husband mumbles and rambles...
Drives me nuts so I say yes uhuh like I'm paying attention but bad me I'm not listening...
Then he says something about it being delivered well that caught my attention
Me-Hold up what did you say about delivery?
he smiled
Me-So I dont get my new eyes?
hubby-I didn't say that honey
"snicker"was just giving him a hard time...
Well good news my oldest son is speaking to me again...I'm glad because I was getting really down that he wasnt speaking...
I really didnt care that is was mad so long as we talk it out...
He told me he loved me and missed me.
he said he was mad and that I hurt his feelings..
I just listened...
I could tell he had had a few beers by his voice...
He did admit that he was a A**H**** sometimes..I should of recorded that LOL
I just said no matter Landon I will always love you...your my son..my baby...nothing could stop your momma from loving you...
Sigh" Its easier to be a mom when there little

Your hail storm is arriving here now! I'm glad your oldest is trying to connect again. I barely spoke to my ma in my late teens and early twenties. But eventually -- men realize that their mothers are good and loving. And that love never goes away. Russ
A hail storm huh?! That must have been scary to drive in! I also do the same thing when my hubby goes into these long winded conversations about his printing press at work, I just nod my head at the right time. I swear after 14 years I could probably run that press! So happy to hear that your oldest son called you!!!! HOORAY!
Hugs and love, Lisa
A mothers love for her son, cant be compared to anything else.... SO glad things are better with him. As far as hubby...they are ALL the same! LOL

My cousin tells me about the amazing race, she loves it too.
So glad your eldest son came to his senses, it must be awful not being able to talk to him. You're right, it is easier when they're little!!
